The Chop
It's been one year that this innovative night has been going.  It's a celebration of the person that we seldom celebrate, and yet if they didn't do their thing then the music we enjoy would not have the same character and influence: it's the beatmaker.  On these nights we celebrate Sydney beat makers with a live performance. No hiding here, the beats are live and direct.  This sessions beats will be brought to you by Mumbles and Ink Stain. And as a special treat on this fabulous celebratory night, the one and only Boogie Blind will be there showing off his mad skills.  That's Pharoahe Monche's DJ also from the X-Ecutioners/ X-men.

Vent
Have you been naughty? Or have you been nice? This night breaks out of it's traditional Friday spot to give you one day of hangover relief after Xmas before you get right back into it.  It's a night that we love which gives the opportunity to up and coming artists to preform in a secure and supportive environment.  They love hearing new sounds and supporting dope flows. This time around we see Versatile Excel, Corner Store Super Heros, Juxta, Mickey Deville, and Kovacs take the mic. As always the night will finish with an open mic cypher where you can really bring the skills if you've got them! (yes that's a challenge.)
Valve Bar (upstairs Agincourt Hotel), Ultimo

It's the Hip Hop block party that we look forward to every month for more than a year now.  Keep the party going from early in the afternoon until late in the evening. Graff artists will be there doing their thing to beautify the space early in the day and we will all get our dance on and kick on into the night time with the sounds of the DJ duo Lazer Gunne Funke and also Finehouse from Brisbane. The boys have got this kicking on all over the country now, let's not let them forget that Sydney is where the real party is at!
